Are there any places that fill propane tanks in HAlifax? I do not want to
trade my tank. I want my tank filled and not to switch with a filled tank
like the do on Robie St.

I used to buy propane at the U-Haul in Dartmouth by the new bridge. I know
that you asked about Halifax, but it is not far.
You could also get propane at Costco, obviously you needed the membership
(or someone with)

The Irving in Beechville has that technology.

I think all Irvings do it.

That's entirely possible. The Big Stops have propane tanks.

Some Irvings are going the way of tax exchange. The Irving in
Harrietsfield is switching to tank exchange only (or so I'm told).

The cost of propane fills are one of the major reasons I keep renewing
my Costco membership. The savings for thier propane price compared to
others more than pays for my yearly membership, at least it the last
time I shopped around for propane for the bbq.

I still don't like the idea of paying a fee just to walk into a store. It
just doesn't sit right with me.

This is one thing that is making me consider renewing my CostCo membership.
When we got our BBQ we went through the complete first winter using it, and
probably went through 5 tanks that season. This winter I did not BBQ much
because of the cost, but I guess if you compare $13-14 refill to a $29-32
tank trade-in it is well worth it.

Under this petroleum price control act the Rodney MacDonald wants to put in
force Costco would be not be
allowed to sell it that much cheaper
